John Mueller is a Knights of Columbus field agent with the Raso Agency, serving brother Knights and their families primarily in the East Valley, as well as Florence and Scottsdale. John has been a member of the Knights of Columbus since 2006. He is a 3rd degree member of St. Mary Magdalene Council 13779 and a 4th degree member of Vincent Paul Curcio Assembly 3327. He became a field agent for the Order in 2017.

When asked why he became a field agent, John said, “I became a field agent with Knights of Columbus to support and serve my brother Knights by providing professional financial needs analysis and consultation to ensure they have the level of insurance coverage they need to protect their family.”
Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, John earned a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration and a Master’s in Public Administration, both from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Prior to becoming a field agent, John enjoyed a lengthy career as a Human Resources Manager with over 25 years of professional experience in public higher education.

John has been a widower since 2023. He was married to his wonderful wife Tami for 31 years until she was called home by our Lord and Savior. They have one adult daughter, Ariana, who resides in San Diego. John resides in Gilbert and is a parishioner of St. Mary Magdalene. He is a volunteer at Dignity Health Mercy Gilbert Medical Center.

When asked what he hopes to achieve for his members, John said, “I want every Catholic family I meet with to know that I will treat them as my family and I would want to be treated --- in a caring, ethical, and supportive manner. Most importantly, my objective is to have a full understanding of their individual financial situation first before proposing ideas and insurance solutions to protect and support their family.”
